Using Layering in a Simple Fall Outfit- OOTD
When it comes to cold weather, layering is my best friend. Where I live, this fall is already freezing!! (take in mind I'm a complete freeze baby) Anyways, I thought today's outfit was a great example of layering in a really simple way. I recently picked up this great sweater from Forever21 with cute zipper details on the sides and thought that it would look even better with a turtle neck. To add something not only practical for warmth but also cute, I started with plain black mock turtle neck tank top and layered the striped sweater on top but left the side zippers open to show the sides. For pants I reached for my favorite colored jeans which I love because the military green is great for fall & then for shoes I just added some dusty brown colored suede booties. I also ended up adding a cream colored watch just to have a final touch. Hope you all enjoyed! and don't forget to follow my page on bloglovin' & checkout my social media links -LilyVera

How to Look Good When You Aren't Feeling Your Best
Whether it be seasonal allergies, the common cold, or even just a bum day, chances are that we will all have a day or two this fall that we don't feel good. Despite whatever it may be that is getting us down, there are some easy steps we can take to feeling and looking better. It may seem cliche, but a full breakfast can really give you what you need in the morning; My breakfast consisted of two mini protein muffins, a sliced banana, and some fresh strawberries. Along with breakfast, a large cup of coffee or tea always seems to boost your energy. following a yummy breakfast, the best thing you can do is use an invigorating face wash and then after moisturizing I always reach for a good eye serum to get rid of any dark circles. Right now, Proactive's Brightening Eye Serum is my current go to, but Sephora also always has some good ones in stock if you interested in other options. With a clean fresh face already obtained, the best thing you can do on a rough day is stick to lighter natural makeup and a cute casual outfit. You really don't want to weigh down your face or wear anything uncomfortable. following the picture above, I stuck with basic thick black leggings, no heal ankle booties, a classic olive colored sweater and topped it off with a warm scarf. After following this really easy processes in the morning, I felt more awake and better prepared for the day. Hope this gave all of you ideas for looking and feeling better even on the hardest days, links to everything will be down bellow & don't forget to check back for new posts -LilyVera

Fall Fashion Inspiration & Get to know me
Hello Lovelies, I thought that a fun fall outfit of the day would be a wonderful way to start off this blog. For those of you who don't know, My name is Lily and starting this page is something I've had under consideration for quite a while now. Getting back to this fall inspired outfit, I think in the fall it can be so incredibly easy to incorporate colors; Instead of a basic burgundy or olive green I went with this burnt orange top that still focused on fall warm tones & brought the cute lace-up detail that has been trending recently. With fall being the perfect time for relaxed denim, I settled on a looser pair of high-waisted light wash jeans from American Eagle and pair it together with these classic black leather healed booties. Lastly, I added a small Kate Spade crossbody bag, a bold hat with both caramel and black detailing, and pulled it all together with some gold arm candy. Hope you all pulled a little inspo for your fall wardrobe & Ill link all the pieces down bellow. Make sure to follow me for new updates coming soon. -LilyVera
