Spring 2017 Look-Book || Outfit Inspiration

With the winter hopefully coming to a close sometime soon, I have already started getting beyond excited for styling spring outfits! With the help of the app Polyvore, I've worked on a few looks I can't wait rock this spring & I hope you all get a touch of inspiration.
Loving floral lace and the detail it adds on this tank top! on top of the basics, saddle bags are becoming such a trendy piece that can either be a statement or super simple like the one pictured.

Seriously obsessed with this whole look! With bodysuits being a simple piece, I honestly think some palazzo pants can really jazz up any outfit.  Plus, if you are in need of a good everyday handbag, I have heard wonderful things about the quality of Celine bags.
For a more casual-everyday look, I have been loving the boyfriend jean trend!! plus so many places are carrying fun fedoras and felt hats like these right now that look great with simple looks.

Jumpsuits make such easy and simple outfits that are still sooo stunning. Also, I have been a major fan of the Givenchy  Antigona bags!! I added these adorable wedges because if you're like me, and only 5'4", I take the extra height where I can get it!
Last but not least, This bold pop of color was so great for spring! I especially dig the floral high-neck statement necklace paired with the off the shoulder top.

Thanks for checking in & I hope you come back for more posts soon! If you're interested in any on these exact pieces, My Polyvore account is Lilypfl.                   -XoXo, LilyVera

January IPSY Glam-bag Review || Was it worth it?

So apparently I was behind the hype, but starting in December, I joined the monthly subscription service called ipsy.  For only $10 a month, ipsy will send you 5 beauty products that are either full sized or deluxe sample size + a makeup bag! After hearing so many rave over this service, I decided to sign up for myself, fill out the profile on products I enjoy, & wait for my first glam bag to arrive. Here is what came in my January ipsy bag:

  • Pacifica Blush- I did get this product full sized & it was defiantly my favorite from the bag! this alone costs $12 and I really enjoyed the pigmentation. (shade- wildrose)
  • Bahama Mama Bronzer-  I received a sample size version of this product; Overall a great product but such a small pan made application difficult.
  • Rimmel London balm- Full sized product that was part of the kate moss collection! good balm, but I personally prefer a color. retail price of $5.50.
  • Smashbox bb cream- I got a mini of this product, but as much as I enjoy smashbox, I'm just not a huge fan of bb/cc creams.
  • 2 loverecipe face masks- I am already a huge fan of sheet masks so I was pumped! I tried the Blueberry Acai mask.
Overall, I'd say this months bag was well worth the money, but hopefully next months bag comes with some more exciting makeup products & not lip balm! check back for new posts soon        -XoXo, LilyVera

My 6 Most Used Products for Healthy Beautiful (Color-Treated) Hair!

Hello lovelies! After getting some questions on keeping my hair healthy after bleaching it, I decided to share my favorite go to hair products. If you have hair like mine that can always use some extra moisture, than I hope you enjoy these 6 affordable hair care products.

  1. Infusium23 Repair + Renew : This product is the perfect leave in conditioner, two pumps right after you get out of the shower! It’s always nice to keep your post wash hair feeling clean & voluminous with lightweight moisture.
  2. TRESemme Split Remedy :This product isn’t one for everyday use, but is definitely a must have when you’ve gone that extra 2 months without a haircut. Spray 3-4 pumps in your hair brush and lightly brush through the ends of damp hair for best results.
  3. Studio35Beauty toning shampoo (similar one linked) : This is a MUST for color treated blondes of anyone trying to drop their brassy tones. Always a go to when I’m holding off on the bleach for a while, sometimes everyone’s hair needs a break.
  4. Aussie sprunch Hairspray : Don’t get me wrong, I love aerosol can hair spray as much as the next girl, but for a light hold, this product works like a charm and leaves your hair with a touchable feel.
  5. Marc Anthony Strictly Curls : Heat free is the best way to style your hair when it’s dry, a light mousse makes it easy in no time at all. Love having a cute messy look for a casual day.
  6. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle : What all you need is that deep condition, this is what you are looking for; nothing is better than having your hair feel healthy right after you color it, or when you just need a boost!

Thank you so much for checking in! Hope these products help your hair feel even more amazing & luxurious than ever                  - XoXo, LilyVera
